Waiting for Julian Assange and Liu Xiaobo, Performance, Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, Paris 2010
A series of performances at the Arrivals gate of the Paris and Berlin airports. In Paris in 2010 I waited for Julian Assange who after the WikiLeaks affair was rumoured had requested asylum in France. The same year Liu Xiaobo – a famous chinese dissident was given Nobel Peace Prize. In 2015 there were rumours in Germany that another famous western dissident Edward Snowden that escaped USA "justice" in Moscow, might get an asylum in Germany. I waited for him at the Arrivals gate of the Tegel Airport.
